SKETCHBOOKS

I use sketchbooks in all sorts of ways, sometimes I write notes, sometimes poetry, I might play with washes of watercolour or make quick sketches in charcoal either in the studio or on my walks. I don't have any rules or hold myself to any thoughts of making them beautiful. They are a tool for remembering what I have seen and felt, and a guide to what path to take  with my work. (more sketches will be added here from time to time)
